Two years after heartbreak, Seraphina returns to the pack for justice—not love. But Tyler, the alpha who shattered her bond, isn’t done fighting for it.

The Alpha’s Shattered Bonds is the third book in the Feral Hearts Saga; however, they can all be read alone. There are no connections from book to book.
Overview
Two years ago, Tyler broke her heart. Three weeks after he rejected their bond, she stands and watches his bonding ceremony to another woman. He was all that held her here in the pack; everyone else blamed her for her parents’ betrayal. Seraphina decides to break the mate bond and leave, forever.
But here she is two years later, back with the pack. She is determined to clear her parents’ name; that’s it. Tyler has different plans. He’s spent the last two years looking for her and is remorseful of his rejection.
Positives
If you have read my Five Packs series reviews, you know I have specific requirements for a good rejected mates troupe. The Alpha’s Shattered Bonds does an excellent, painful rejection. It does it twice. Tyler does a lot of groveling and entirely feels the damage he did. Meanwhile, Seraphina starts “weak”, but quickly gains her strength and confidence.
Negatives
I want to start with, I have a distaste for age gaps. And this one is an adoptive caregiver, Tyler, and his ward, Seraphina. A redeeming quality is Tyler’s rejection of it, which is what causes the rejection of the bond. The author doesn’t give the exact age gap, and I could see it being less than a decade, but I’m hesitant because I’m not sure.
Recommendations
If you like or are indifferent to age gaps, you will like this. For myself, it’s only a three-star. I didn’t notice any technical issues, but the dynamics weren’t agreeable to me, and the plot lacked memorable elements.
