She crash-landed into chaos. He wasn’t supposed to claim her. But fate—and a terrifyingly gentle alien—have other plans.

Good things come to those who wait. I waited for over a year for this book to be released! Rhaego has been a fan favorite since Choosing Theo. He finally has his mate.

Overview

Aurora doesn’t have any time to process being on an alien planet before she is chased through the woods by “demons”. Now she’s supposed to live with the alien who caught her, as his wife?

Rhaego has experience with humans. He knows his appearance is scary to them. Luckily, he’s patient. Aurora wasn’t the human he was supposed to take. But when he saw her, he knew he had to have her. So they need to finish helping to free the other humans, then, maybe, he could woo her.

Positives

I understand now why Bewitching Rhaego’s release date was pushed back twice! You can’t rush perfection, and Rhaego deserved to find his loving mate. I fell in love with him in Freeing Luka; this big, scary alien is such a hopeless romantic.

Aurora’s more passive personality works in her favor. She’s able to keep calm and think things through amidst the unknown events around. She is good at the when life gives you lemons, make lemonade.

Negatives

Bewitching Rhaego seemed a bit slow at the beginning, but I think that was more of my pent-up energy. I’ve waited so long for this book, so I was excited to get into it.

Recommendations

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Five Stars, it was worth the wait and delays! Victoria Aveline put a lot of effort into giving Rhaego a good story.

This title is available at no extra cost with a Kindle Unlimited membership.

The audiobook is still being worked on as of July 2025.
