She’s hunting for her sister. He’s sworn to protect his people. When war crashes into desire, only trust can survive the wreckage.

Plundered is the second book of Raider Warlords of the Vandar. They can be read individually.
Overview
Tara has pulled every string she could in pursuit of finding her sister. (Whose story can be found in Possessed.) After enlisting the help of Zagrath, she unknowingly takes on cargo with trackers. So, when the Vandar board her ship and confiscate the cargo, Tara and the Zagrath track them and attack.
During the attack, Kaalek escapes with Tara and crash-lands on a nearby planet. In an effort to help the residents rise against the Zagrath, Kaalek and Tara discover that maybe the other isn’t so bad.

Positives
This time, the couple develops their relationship before becoming intimate. It does delay the steamy scenes, but it’s nice to have a little emotion. I think it helps elevate the more steamy scenes.
We get to see more of the world-building in Plundered. There’s a new planet and culture. We also get a glimpse of the Vandar culture.
Negatives
This is one of those series that has predictable plots. A female is taken by a Vandar Raas (Captain), a brooding and possessive alien, and they fight their emotions, surrendering to a steamy encounter. But that’s not always a bad thing. Additionally, some of the dialogue is somewhat cheesy.
Recommendations
If you can’t get enough steamy alien romance and find comfort in a predictable plot, you should try this series. I give it three stars as I’ve repeatedly returned to this series for my alien romance itch.
Narration Notes
Marcio Catalano and Addison Barnes narrate the audiobook. Both do a great job. I really enjoyed Marcio Catalano for all the male parts. You can get all ten audiobooks on Audible with three credits, thanks to the series being divided into three box sets.
